Standard Bank Namibia and Rich Africa Consultancy have signed a three-year partnership to support Namibia’s energy sector development.
Rich Africa Consultancy runs the Namibia International Energy Conference.

Now in its 7th year, this year’s conference is set for 23-25 April 2025 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort runs under the theme “Leading the Way: Becoming an Energy Hub with In-Country Value.”
The conference will focus on Namibia’s upstream oil and gas developments, renewable energy potential, infrastructure investments, and the evolving policy landscape shaping energy and extractives investment.
Standard Bank Namibia aims to pursue opportunities in Africa’s energy and infrastructure development beyond 2025.
The bank will use its expertise in the infrastructure and energy sectors and large balance sheet to support clients among other advantages.
Standard Bank Namibia’s head of corporate and investment banking, Nelson Lucas, says the bank is privileged to be afforded the opportunity to establish a partnership with the Namibia International Energy Conference as a collective champions of the Energy industry.
Lucas also says they hold the energy conference platform in high regard for bringing together industry leaders and experts from across the globe to have industry-defining conversations and cross-border networking to secure Namibia’s spot as one of the energy leaders in Africa and internationally.
