Midas Minerals has reported another round of high-grade copper and silver drill results from the T-13 deposit at its Otavi Copper Project in Namibia, as the Australian explorer intensifies efforts to expand what is already emerging as one of the country’s more significant undeveloped copper discoveries.

The latest infill drilling results confirmed wide zones of high-grade mineralisation at the T-13 Copper-Silver Deposit, with several intersections exceeding 4% copper equivalent over substantial widths.

Among the standout results was 46.2 metres grading 4.01% copper equivalent from 193.2 metres in hole T13DD009, including higher-grade intervals of 9.7 metres at 6.55% copper equivalent and 10.6 metres at 7.45% copper equivalent. Another hole, T13DD013, intersected 41.9 metres at 3.70% copper equivalent, including 11.6 metres at 7.90% copper equivalent.

The company also reported encouraging results from the western extension of the deposit, located about 600 metres west of the Main Zone. The first infill hole drilled in the area returned 27 metres at 1.46% copper equivalent from 286.8 metres, including six metres grading 3.20% copper equivalent.

Midas said the drilling campaign is helping define the geometry and continuity of higher-grade mineralisation across the broader T-13 system, which currently stretches over about 1.4 kilometres of strike length.

The Otavi Copper Project is located within Namibia’s Otavi Mountain Land, an area historically known for high-grade copper production. The project has increasingly attracted investor attention as global demand for copper accelerates amid the energy transition and the push toward electrification.

Midas previously delivered an initial mineral resource estimate for T-13 of 10.5 million tonnes grading 1.6% copper and 21g/t silver, containing about 169,000 tonnes of copper and 7.1 million ounces of silver. The company said an updated resource estimate is expected later in 2026 following the current drilling programme.

Midas Minerals managing director Mark Calderwood said the infill drilling campaign continues to deliver results that exceed expectations.

“Infill drilling of the high-grade Main Zone at T-13 continues to return better than expected drill intercepts of about 4% CuEq over wide intervals,” Calderwood said.

He added that drilling at the western portion of the deposit is confirming another higher-grade zone that could significantly increase the scale of the mineralised system.

The company currently has five drill rigs operating across the Otavi project area, including two diamond rigs at T-13, two rigs at the Deblin Copper-Gold-Silver Deposit and one RC rig at the Spaatzu prospect, with another core rig expected to begin operations shortly.

Midas also highlighted Namibia’s attractiveness as a mining jurisdiction, citing the country’s stable democracy, established mining infrastructure and supportive fiscal regime.
