Golden Deeps Limited has reported exceptional results from a new zone of mineralisation within its Central Otavi Critical Metals Project in northern Namibia.
The newly named Graceland prospect delivered outstanding rock-chip grades, including up to 47.3% copper, 35.4% zinc, 34.1% lead, 7,792 g/t silver and 224 g/t germanium.
Sampling across multiple gossan and sulphide showings has defined a two-kilometre strike corridor, up to one kilometre wide, marking one of the most promising new finds in the Otavi Mountain Land metallogenic province.
The Otavi belt is already recognised for its world-class polymetallic systems, including the historic Tsumeb mine, which produced 27 million tonnes grading 4.3% copper, 10% lead, 3.5% zinc, 95 g/t silver, and 50 g/t germanium.
Golden Deeps’ portfolio in the area now spans a suite of advanced projects and discoveries that reinforce its role in supplying critical and strategic minerals.
The company’s footprint in Namibia dates back more than a decade, with its original tenements anchored by EPL 3543 and EPL 5496, covering the Abenab, Khusib Springs and Nosib areas.
In April 2025, Golden Deeps further consolidated its position by acquiring the Central Otavi Critical Metals Project, a package of four EPLs (8546, 8547, 8548, and 8643), which expanded its ground holding by nearly 390 square kilometres to over 440 square kilometres.
These newly acquired licences brought with them several advanced prospects, including Border, Driehoek, Kaskara and the emerging Graceland discovery.
At the Nosib Critical Metals discovery, drilling has outlined two distinct zones: a shallow, high-grade vanadium–copper–lead–silver enriched zone with intersections such as 71.5 metres at 3.0% CuEq from surface, and a deeper stratabound copper–silver sulphide zone producing widths up to 45 metres.
Recent drilling to the west of the high-grade polymetallic zone confirmed continuity, with intersections including 27.3 metres at 0.38% copper and 2.56 g/t silver.
Nosib has also emerged as a gallium-rich system, with underground channel sampling and drilling returning up to 23 metres at 168 g/t Ga2O3, 0.72% copper, 0.54% V2O5, and 3.97% lead.
Gallium’s importance to semiconductors and LEDs has prompted the company to re-evaluate its potential across other Otavi prospects.
At the Khusib Springs deposit, which previously produced over 300,000 tonnes at 10% copper and 584 g/t silver, Golden Deeps has completed a new Mineral Resource estimate through Shango Solutions.
The updated model defined 492,000 tonnes grading 116 g/t silver equivalent, containing 1.9 million ounces of silver equivalent metal in both Indicated and Inferred categories.
Drilling confirmed thick silver–copper sulphide zones at depth, including 90 metres at 0.8% CuEq from 389 metres, with higher-grade intervals up to 28 metres at 1.5% CuEq.
The deposit remains open to the west and at depth, with drilling planned to expand resources.
The Border deposit, part of the Pavian zinc–lead–silver trend, hosts a JORC 2012 Inferred Mineral Resource of 16.2 million tonnes grading 2.12% Zn+Pb and 4.76 g/t silver.
]Intersections include 101 metres at 2.12% Zn+Pb from 18 metres and 45 metres at 2.10% Zn+Pb from 101 metres.
The mineralisation remains open to the east, where geochemical drilling has outlined the Toggenburg prospect.
At Driehoek, three outcropping carbonate-hosted zinc–lead–silver zones have been identified, with historical trenching delivering 103 metres at 5.96% Zn+Pb and drilling producing thick intersections such as 61.85 metres at 4.21% Zn+Pb and 6.30 g/t silver.
Driehoek is considered highly prospective for new resource definition pending verification of historical data and fresh drilling.
The Kaskara prospect features high-grade vanadate-bearing breccia pipes that contain vanadium, lead, zinc, and copper.
Intersections include 2.7 metres at 4.31% V2O5, 10.45% Pb and 3.40% Zn from surface, and 21.9 metres at 2.52% V2O5, 5.79% Pb, 1.81% Zn and 0.45% Cu from 53.96 metres.
Germanium grades have reached up to 333 g/t, confirming Kaskara’s potential as a rare metal target.
Induced polarisation surveys have identified two significant anomalies at depth, potentially representing sulphide systems awaiting drill testing.
With seven Exclusive Prospecting Licences in the Otavi Mountain Land, Golden Deeps has consolidated a unique portfolio of polymetallic and critical metal targets.
The company’s acquisitions have enabled it to transition from historical revival work at Nosib and Khusib Springs into a district-scale exploration play, encompassing some of the most prospective ground in Namibia’s carbonate-hosted polymetallic belt.
Golden Deeps’ Namibian operations are supported by firm cash reserves of A$2.84 million as at June 2025, enabling continued exploration and development work. The company is positioning itself as a supplier of copper, silver, zinc, lead, vanadium, and rare metals, including gallium and germanium—commodities essential to global high-technology and renewable energy markets.
With Graceland adding to Nosib, Khusib, Border, Driehoek and Kaskara, the company has firmly established itself as a leading explorer in Namibia’s most mineralised belt.
