Consolidated Copper Corp has appointed Yolande Stegmann as interim chief operating officer.
The appointment took effect in late May.
Stegmann joined Consolidated Copper Corp in November 2023 as chief processing officer and subsequently served as general manager.
Consolidated Copper Corp says Stegmann has played a pivotal role in driving operational performance and strategic planning, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
According to the company, Stegmann brings a wealth of leadership experience from her previous positions at MMG, Kamoto Copper Company, and Anglo Platinum.
The company further says Stegmann will apply her extensive industry knowledge and people-centred leadership to optimise operations further, enhance safety and quality standards, and strengthen the organisation’s overall performance.
Consolidated Copper Corp CEO John Sisay said her appointment marks an important step forward as the company continues to build a resilient and future-focused organisation.
“Her proven track record in operational excellence and her commitment to safety and sustainability make her an ideal leader for this next phase of our journey.
“As we pursue our growth ambitions, I am confident that Yolande’s leadership will further strengthen our ability to deliver consistent value to all stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards across our operations,” Sisay said.
