Langer Heinrich Uranium Mine produced 745,464lb of uranium in the March 2025 quarter, representing a 17% increase on the previous quarter.

Paladin Energy says this is the highest quarterly production level since the restart of the mine in March 2024.

The mine also processed 900,000 tons of ore, which, according to Paladin Energy, was the highest throughput recorded since the restart of operations.

The sales for the March 2025 quarter stood at 872,435lb at an average realised price of US$69.9/lb, while the average plant recovery rate was 88% within the target overall recovery rate.

The Langer Heinrich Mine has 12 offtake contracts with tier-one global customers, with 22.3Mlb of uranium contracted to 2030.

The mine in the Namib Desert suspended operations in March 2025 due to the heavy rains, which caused flooding.

The rains disrupted operations when they saturated the stockpiles and impacted the processing plant chemistry.

Paladin Energy says there was no significant damage to the processing plant, and the stockpile remains the primary ore source for the crusher feed.

The mine has started resource optimisation and drilling in the existing mining lease 140 to enhance mine planning for future operations by continuing to expand the in-ground resources.

Work has also been undertaken to prepare for additional exploration activities in the adjacent lease 172.
