Antler Gold CEO Christopher Drysdale said the company intends to find a suitable partner to progress the Paresis Gold Project through an earn-in or similar agreement to maximise future discovery benefits for shareholders.
Drysdale commented on Monday when Antler Gold announced it would start exploring the Paresis Gold Project in the Kunene and Otjozondjupa regions.
Until now, the Paresis Gold Project was at the reconnaissance mapping stage.
Antler Gold’s subsidiary, Antler Gold Namibia, owns the Paresis Gold Project under EPL 8711, covering about 21,000 hectares.
Antler has another EPL application situated between the towns of Otjiwarongo and Outjo.
The exploration program will roll out in phases, starting with geological mapping and grab rock chip sampling as phase one.
Phase two will involve a geochemical sampling program, depending on the initial rock chip assay results.
The Canadian-listed mineral exploration company owns the Onkoshi Gold Project and the Erongo Gold Project in Namibia.
The Onkoshi Gold Project and the Erongo Gold Project are at the exploration stage.
