Askari Metals continues site preparations and field team mobilisation planning for the upcoming exploration campaign at EPL 7626 in Namibia.
EPL 7626 is a part of the Uis Project prospective for tin and tantalum mineralisation.
The planned field programs include mapping, rock chip sampling, and a license-wide soil geochemical sampling campaign.
The soil survey has been redesigned as a 400 x 40m grid to provide more detailed results and allow for infill sampling to be completed across the identified anomalous areas.
The soil sampling, aimed at testing for buried LCT pegmatites across EPL 7626, is a preferred method for low-cost, high-impact exploration.
This approach will be expanded through systematic trenching of the high-priority targets.
Field programs will be carried out by Askari’s exploration team using our in-house LIBS and pellet press equipment for rapid and cost-effective on-site sample analysis.
The planned field campaign on EPL 7626 is designed to extend the widespread tin and tantalum mineralisation identified across the company’s southern licences, EPLs 7345 and 8535.
Commenting on the operational activities, Executive Director Mr Gino D’Anna stated: “We continue to progress the delivery of our African-focused exploration strategy. The company remains well-positioned to capitalise on favourable commodity price conditions as we continue to focus on exploring Namibia and developing our Uis Project, which is exposed to the strong fundamentals of tin and tantalum.”
D’Anna also said that, as a company, they want to demonstrate to investors that Askari is leading the way in exploration in Africa.
