Aldoro Resources Ltd has intersected 537 metres from surface at Kameelburg, returning 1.18% TREO, 3.67% SrCO₃ and 0.19% Nb₂O₅.
The result from diamond drill hole DD005G extends from surface to end-of-hole, with mineralisation remaining open at depth, including the previously untested central core of the carbonatite.
Higher-grade zones within the intercept included 26 metres at 2.06% TREO and 5.90% SrCO₃ from surface, 86 metres at 1.71% TREO and 4.86% SrCO₃ from 31 metres, and 24 metres at 1.51% TREO and 4.53% SrCO₃ from 120 metres.
The drilling confirms mineralisation extends across the entire carbonatite from margin to core, reducing geological uncertainty and supporting the potential for a large-scale bulk mining operation.
Current drilling defines a mineralised footprint of approximately 1.5 kilometres long, 650 metres wide and up to 600 metres deep, with further expansion expected as the system remains open.
Strontium is emerging as a significant co-product, with prices rising from about US$1,200 per tonne to over US$3,100 per tonne, adding potential upside to project economics.
Aldoro said Phase II drilling has reached 7,153 metres across 15 holes, with additional assay results expected through April as it advances toward resource definition and early-stage development studies.
