Askari Metals Limited has reported trenching results of up to 8,340 ppm tin and 0.57% lithium oxide at its Uis Project in Namibia, as the company moves toward defining a maiden resource later this year.

The results come from a Phase I trenching programme at the OP pegmatite target on EPL 7345, where assays also returned 299 ppm tantalum, 2,380 ppm rubidium and 354 ppm caesium, confirming a broad polymetallic system.

Askari said trenching confirmed continuous mineralisation across a 2.2km-long pegmatite, with widths ranging between 15m and 30m, following systematic work conducted at approximately 40m spacing to support drill targeting and resource definition.

Executive director Gino D’Anna said the results strengthen confidence in the scale and continuity of mineralisation across the project.

“Phase I trenching… confirmed continuous mineralisation of lithium, tin, tantalum and rubidium along the entire pegmatite length and across width,” he said, adding that the company is planning follow-on drilling to advance toward a maiden resource.

The Uis Project lies adjacent to the producing Uis Tin Mine operated by Andrada Mining Limited, which hosts a mineral resource of 77.51 million tonnes, reinforcing the geological continuity of the area.

Askari said the latest results validate historical exploration and improve confidence ahead of a planned reverse circulation drilling programme in the second half of 2026. Additional assay results from other targets, including PS and K9, are expected in April.
