Namibia will be the first country in the world where Elevate Uranium Limited’s proprietary U‑grade™ processing technology is deployed, following the completion of final factory testing and the imminent shipment of the pilot plant.

The Australian-listed uranium developer (ASX: EL8) announced on 29 July 2025 that operations at the pilot facility are scheduled to commence in late 2025, marking a key milestone in the commercial rollout of its low-impact beneficiation technology.

The U‑grade™ process was developed in-house by Elevate and is designed to pre-concentrate uranium ore by removing non-mineralised material at an early stage. The result is a significantly reduced volume of material requiring downstream processing, which in turn lowers transport, reagent, and tailings costs.

The pilot deployment in Namibia will provide the first operational test of the technology at scale, utilising ore from the company’s Koppies deposit in the initial phase.

The pilot plant shipment comes as Elevate continues to report strong exploration results across its Namibian portfolio.

Earlier in July, the company confirmed large-scale mineralisation at its Namib IV tenement, where drilling has outlined a mineralised envelope measuring approximately 11 kilometres by 7.5 kilometres.

The discovery expands the company’s resource footprint in the highly prospective Erongo uranium province.

In its June 2025 quarterly report, Elevate provided further updates on Namibian projects, including Koppies, Namib IV, and the Central Erongo area, highlighting continued drilling and evaluation activities.

The report also included updates on the company’s early-stage projects in Australia, though its core operational and technological focus remains on southern Africa.

Elevate CEO Murray Hill said the combination of technological innovation and strong exploration results placed the company in a unique position.

“Namibia will be the proving ground for U‑grade™.

It’s a world first, and it’s happening alongside one of the largest new uranium exploration footprints in the country. The pilot plant’s deployment represents a major step forward in how uranium can be processed more efficiently and sustainably.”

The Koppies deposit, which will supply ore for the pilot program, has been a consistent source of high-grade intercepts and remains a central part of Elevate’s long-term development strategy in Namibia.

As the company prepares for the operational rollout of U‑grade™ and continues to expand its resource base, Elevate Uranium is emerging as a pioneer in both advanced uranium processing and low-impact exploration in one of the world’s most prospective uranium regions.
