Gratomic Inc. has announced Daniel Baard’s resignation as interim CFO and a company director.
Baard replaced Stephen Woodhead as the CFO in July 2024.
The company has seen other executives, among them the COO and director Armando Farhate and Karl Trudeau, who was the COO.
Gratomic later named Farhate as one of those who had wrongfully transferred the remaining Capim Grosso Property claims in Brazil to expire after the company had made significant expenditures.
Gratomic executive chair Bruno Baillavoine left the company for personal reasons in November 2024.
Gratomic said then that Baillavoine’s position would remain vacant, and the remainder of the board would absorb his duties as the company assessed the best candidate to fill the position later.
CEO Arno Brand assumed the responsibilities of COO when Farhate left.
Brand has also been appointed Interim CFO and executive chairperson, while Manie Silver, Chief Operating Officer of the Company, has been appointed CEO.
Brand has agreed to forgo his executive compensation from April 1, 2024 onward.
He said that as a resident of South Africa, Manie is in the best position to manage the company’s operation due to his proximity to the Aukam Graphite project.”
The company is compiling financial information to prepare draft financial statements to submit to its auditors to complete the audit of its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024, as soon as possible.
