Aldoro Resources has requested the suspension of trading in its shares on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) as it prepares to announce a significant strategic partnership agreement.
The suspension took effect on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, following an earlier trading halt requested by the company on 2 November.
Aldoro, which has exploration interests in Namibia, said the voluntary suspension would allow it to finalise and release details of the proposed partnership before trading resumes.
In a letter to the ASX dated 4 November, company secretary Jack Rosagro confirmed that the suspension was being sought under Listing Rule 17.2, pending the announcement.
The company requested that its shares remain suspended until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Thursday, 5 November, or the release of the announcement.
The ASX subsequently confirmed that Aldoro’s securities would be suspended from quotation immediately at the company’s request.
The development comes as investors await further information about the nature of the strategic partnership, including the identity of the prospective partner and the assets or operations that may be covered by the agreement.
However, Aldoro has not disclosed whether the proposed partnership relates to its Namibian exploration interests or other activities within its portfolio.
The company also did not provide financial details, ownership arrangements or other commercial terms associated with the anticipated agreement.
Aldoro said it was unaware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted and had no additional information necessary to inform the market about the suspension.
The announcement was approved for release by the company’s board.
The suspension is a temporary measure requested by Aldoro ahead of a market announcement and does not, in itself, indicate any regulatory breach or financial difficulty.
Further details of the strategic partnership are expected when the company releases its announcement to the ASX.
